Exactly a week removed from a double-digit win against a talented Creighton squad, the Golden Hurricane lost 69-66 to Division II Southeastern Oklahoma State on Wednesday night at the Reynolds Center. It was the first time Tulsa was beaten by a non-Division I opponent since a Feb. 2, 1977, upset by Quincy College.

OU better not lose to Tulsa now.

He n Thomas have been great on both ends. Spangler and hield have been quiet.

87-68 final. This team has the ability to gel over the season. When Spangler, Hield, and Woodard don't play well, we have way more options than I can remember us having since Calvin era.

Love the win but still nervous about Buddy. He's had a bad start to the year and I don't think he realizes it.

Yep, he'll need to drive to the hoop and get to the line on off nights. I think they'll continue to try to get him good looks off screens. He's usually pretty good at pulling up and shooting 3s in transition and our defense has actually been pretty solid. He's better on the break than he is in half court sets.
