OU had won 48 consecutive games when leading at halftime - the longest streak in the nation. Oops.

We lost our running back, played a freshman QB, receivers who duck when objects are thrown at them and one of the ponies pulling the schooner threw a shoe.
Now this......

We obviously used all our "Sooner magic" up at last years bedlam and the sugar bowl.
Where do we get a refil??

Sooner Magic happens when something completely beyond the scope of possibility breaks our way. Perine's record was the result of his general awesomeness, injury to our starting QB, driving rain, a healthy O-line, and Kansas. Now if Cody Thomas had managed to set the passing record in that game, I might be able to chalk that one up to Sooner Magic.
