I said it before. I use to think that Mac was a great recruiter but a terrible coach. But then I came to realize that he was not a good recruiter either. He just "picked" who he wanted from all those that were clamoring to go to texass. He passed on a LOT of winners. Even those that lived only 17 miles from campus. Thank gawd!

Really proud of this kid. It's absolutely incredible that he holds this record in his first year of college ball. Glad he's a Sooner. Texass is hatin Mack all over again right now.

Blame Mack Brown if you want Texas fans, but are you forgetting that Perine is a TRUE freshman? That means that this is Charlie's fault just as much as it is Mack's fault for not recruiting him.

But but but it's the UT way to get verbals when players are sophomores! We already had a running back committed to this class under Mack! He was already going to OU when Mack resigned! Texcuses, Texcuses. It would have been easy to flip him if he was a true whorn fan, especially with Joe Mixon expected to play and contribute immediately (before the birthday thing, of course)

Mack's fault? No, CHARLIE AND MACK's fault.

Notice the distance that Mack is sitting from Samaje, and that Stoops has his arm around him! That is what I see. Now Perine can hold up one finger, and maybe he can choose which one for Texass.

lol. the string of mack recruiting botches continues. RG3 was supposed to play defense, while Johnny Manziel and Jameis Winston weren't good enough... in retrospect those last two were probably good misses

ps: it's fun to turn my caps lock off on non-wisconsin fan threads. :P i'm probably not going to keep the trolling up too much longer. too many seem to be taking me seriously. i mean, is anyone looking at my post count? I've been here since 2005 for cripes sake
