... almost over. I'm not sure if it went by too fast or not fast enough. Seems like just a short time ago we were enjoying the national fawning and new found respect for OU football after whipping the mighty, invincible Crimson Tide. Rode that horse all the way to Ft. Worth where it was shot out from under us and we've been walking - no... limping - ever since. I can't remember a more disappointing team. I'd say disappointing year also because it was that too, but I'm getting used to it.

Sugar bowl was the '13 team. Can't take that away from us as it's officially in the books. Likewise, can't carry it over to the '14 team as some people seem to think. This team started showing cracks as soon as we played the Vols.

Yes, most people realize that. But rankings, predictions, etc. are based on the team from the previous year and returning players. Seemed like there was enough returning from that '13 team to be better than what they've been. But, if and buts.....
