Although I think TCU thought they had their game locked up, I hope our D doesn't get too comfortable on this bunch with anything less than a 35 point lead.

1 - ground actually CAN cause a fumble (although it's rare - but remember the Client Stoener fumble?), it's just a saying, not the rule.

2. How is a rule about fumble relevant to an incomplete pass anyway? Even if a player goes out of bounds, he still has to make a catch that would be complete if made wholly in the field of play. Going out of bounds doesn't instantly freeze the complete/incomplete analysis so that a guy only has to have possessed the ball at the split-second between Foot A touching the ground inbounds and Foot B touching the ground out of bounds.
