All those kickers are better than Hunnicutt? Really?
Pretty obviously wrong.

I don't think any of those kickers flubbed 3 chip shots on national TV in one of the most important games of the year. For that alone, he wasn't going to win, and he doesn't deserve to make a list simply because of his overall body of work. It's not a lifetime achievement award.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone on that list--or most of them--have at least one game-winning kick this season.

Last year's kicks don't count for this year's award.

mmmm hmmmm. We'll see come draft time. Somehow I'm thinking that people who play for real money are going to have a slightly different take on things.

Without the KState game, he'd be one of the favorites.

Precisely.

Really too bad, and it's his senior year so his pro prospects also dimmed. Ah well, maybe he can redeem himself later this year with a game winner or something spectacular

I'm hoping he has game-winners for the rest of the season... if the rest of the team can't get it done.

That won't be necessary. Win out, Boys!

This is somewhat similar to Billy Sims fumbling in the Nebraska game and then being dropped from first round to seventh. Not happening.

Did you just compare Hunnicutt to Bill Sims?

What does that have to do anything?

For example the Heisman winner is rarely the first player drafted.
