Let's hear 'em!

The key to this game will be how aggressive our defense plays. If Mike continues on from last week, I think we will dictate the pace of the game. If our offense continues to click (with a healthy Keith Ford), OU could win this one in comfortable fashion. If we show up like we did against TCU, Texas or KSU, it'll go down to the wire. I think it's going to be somewhere in between:

I'm working on the assumption that a) defense is aggressive and b) Heupel doesn't pucker up at first sign of run getting stuffed.

We're going to have to score some points in this one. OU 45 - 31 over BU.

Man, if we come with the usual defensive gameplan against high-power offenses, Baylor will put up over 50 on us. If we go balls out, then we can keep them under 30. Wish I knew which one.

I'll split the difference.

I sure hope Ford is back.

This is a toughie, isn't it? I look at the success WVU had against them, so I'm thinking we can hold them under 30. I'll go with 38-27, us. It could easily be the other way 'round, too....

Our secondary play is lacking outside of Sanchez and we no longer intimidate within the friendly confines of Owen Field. Look for Baylor to pull off the impossible and beat us in Norman for the first time.

Just win baby! I think OU can beat Baylor this year. Just keep the ball. Now that the running game has re-emerged, OU should be able to control the game. I would be happy with even a one point win!

Now there seems to be some doubt about Ford and (gasp) Shepard. Coupled with our secondary problems......

OU - 34
Baylor - 47

31-27, OU. First half is low scoring as both offenses try to get on track.

I'm alive, but I never make Baylor score predictions. Bad karma...could upset the football Gods...etc. etc.

I'll say this: I think the combined total will be under 50.

Everyone is expecting a high scoring game, and the over/under is 73...that said, it almost feels like it could end up being a lower-than-expected total.

That's way the hell too high.

I'm not optimistic. There a handful of coaches capable of out coaching Oklahoma and Art Briles tops the list. They are vastly improved. If we have to play catch-up, and I think we will, well no doubt implement the meerkat look, get a few delay penalties, and take a timeout or two only to come out and run a bungled play.

To win, we'll need the defense and special teams to score early and often.

Well, I was wrong about the o/u being 50; however, I'm somehow okay with that fact. :D
