since it appears that the GOP will take the Senate and, at least, hold the
House in 2014 (according to most polling right now), I'm looking at 2016.
The Pubs will have quite a group out there for prez....Paul, Christie, Bush (?)
Romney(?), Jindal, Cruz, Rubio and who knows what other will trot themselves
out! The Pubs defend 24 Senate seats (out of 34) and the Dems have two or
three very strong (stronger than ANY Pub) candidates...Hillary, Biden (if he
wants to) Warren and some darkhorses ...Mallory, among others (same as
Pubs, who knows, who?). If Hillary pulls the trigger, then the Pubs will have
huge issues because the Obama/Clinton turn out the vote efforts will put a
big hurt on the Pubs, all the way down the ticket and the Dems will take back
the Senate and put a big hurt on the Pub advantage in the House. We ALL know
the 2016 campaign will begin on November 5, 2014.

It saddens me that McConnell will survive until 2020, but we can get a bunch of
'em in 2016. JMO! BTW, I'm open to pragmatic, energized, intelligent, hardworking
candidates from both sides!

One more thing, can we get an amendment to change the Constitution to put ALL
of them up for reelection at the same time? Throw 'em all out!!!!

2016 will be interesting.

I'm not decided by any means (especially since we have no idea who's going to run), but I'm not a fan of Christie, Romney or Hillary. There's a lot to discuss between now and then, and I'm looking forward to (hopefully) someone stepping up and presenting him/her self as a viable option.

It's going to also be very interesting to see if anything can get done in DC with the changes in congress.

Hillary would be a strong candidate...no doubt about it.

Biden stronger than any pub candidate? Is this the twilight zone?

Pocahontas ?

I would truly love Biden or warren to be the dems choice in 2016.

Okie, I should have said that if Hillary doesn't run, then Biden would be stronger.
Logically, Hillary supporters will get behind another Dem. IMO, Warren won't do
anything more than support Hillary...hard to believe that Hillary won't pull the
trigger, but, ya never know.....

Rock on....

I don't think Biden or warren are strong candidates. Biden would be the stronger of the two IMO.

But then I never thought the country would elect a black guy named Hussein, either.
