I do like our running formations for this game though. Maybe with Shep out, the staff will get a handle on running the ball downhill instead of puzzy-footing with that 1 back slow handoff.

This team could beat anyone on any given day but they also could get beat on any given day. The 2 out of the 3 teams they've played that are good beat them. Iowa State is horrible and playing bad. This team still gives up too many big plays, has brain farts on offense and at times seems like great athletes with no brains.

You know... I'm a big NBA fan. Often, you'll see the year after let-down. Kid comes in, rookie year makes a good splash... then next year, he struggles. Third year, is typically break out.

You don't see it as often in college sports any more (the "sophomore year letdown"), because kids leave so early.

If TK follows that same progression. Next year, might be the year we've seen glimpses of brilliance of.
