I just read on ESPN that it was a mostly full tester bottle of cologne and a 2-pack $40 package of Jockey underwear. The kicker? The ESPN commenters are already having fun with the fact that the bottle was "Gucci Guilty Black" (http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/11699736/dallas-cowboys-rb-joseph-randle-arrested-shoplifting) cologne :eek:

Guys, even Victoria's Secret doesn't charge $40 for two pairs of underwear. Will any of you admit to spending $20 per pair of undies?

Nope, Badg, I will not. I'm a Jockey boxers kind of fellow, myself. Last time I got 'em at Wally World, they ran something like $10 for a three pack. Breezy in the summer and you can move, if you catch my meaning, if you get my drift.

And Boulder, really, your bald faced statement is absolutely worthless without pics.

Let's see...The guy makes "a substantial amount" more than I do, but yet shoplifts underwear? And I thought that purchasing my own Hanes or similar was the right thing to do....My thanks go out to my folks that raised me...

There are some plausible explanations to how this happened:

1- Put items in bag, intending to pay later, and then either forgot or got rushed out of the store due to an emergency.

2- The items were too embarrassing to be seen in public with, so he hid them so that he wouldn't be seen with them.

Of the two, I'd say the second is more likely, especially if they were embarrassingly pink or thong underwear :stunned: of course, there's also possibility #3:

3- Like Dez, has spent far beyond his sizable salary and therefore, despite his huge income, cannot afford $40 underwear
