My kids haven't made me a grandparent yet. I'm not in a hurry, but my wife is (she doesn't watch the games).

Yup, 'specially since its been 29 years since I had to wrangle a toddler...
and this little guy can walk AND talk yer leg off! Never understood how
grandparents would say they just can't move away from the grandkids...
until now. All ya gotta know is...."Hi Grandpa...(as he is holding up his
arms to be picked up)...sorry to be "maudlin"...but dayum!

Most people are also a bit younger when taking care of their kids, than when taking care of their grandkids.

Unless they snag a trophy wife and have that second batch of kids. Of course if that happens, it means they are rich and all they do is work that executive job while the young wife shops and the nanny watches the kids. I've seen a lot of that out here in CA.

Just turned 42. I have a 1 yr old boy and 4 yr old boy. They are wearing me out daily and I love it. Fun times! Been showing the 4 yr old the Six Million Dollar Man episodes from the 70s and he is ate up with it. I have to call him Steve most of the time. He does the slow motion run and makes the bionic sounds all the time. About to transition to Star Wars in November to set up Christmas.
