Must be pretty bad if he's suspended from an SEC school.

I wonder if he hit a woman? That's about the only thing I can think of that might get you suspended from an SEC school these days.

Rumor is it is related to autographs. He needs to hire Johnny Football's legal team.

Dang, that is chump change (assuming there isn't a lot more they don't know about).

Can you imagine what it costs UGA if they lose 2 games they would have won because of this? Also, how much both UGA and Gurley lose if this costs him the Heisman. Hopefully, with the P5 cranking up the benefits a bit, no player would be tempted by small things like this. (Wishful thinking, I know)

Say goodbye to the Heisman, hello to $$$$ in the Nefflel....Hard to believe that a kid would throw away what appears to be a lock for the Heisman for 400 dollars, but I'm sure that figure is low by at the bare minimum a factor of 10. However, if he gets only a 2 game suspension, then he might still have it.
With the Heisman only getting "******-nozzels" the last couple of years, and a retarded shoplifter/rapist last year, I would like to see them give to someone who's a quality person off-the-field, as well as on the field, but even AJ, who I thought should have won it last year, is sort of a mouthy attention-seeking little brat. Sammy looks like an Einstein compared to all of these other Heisman contenders.

Yep. Looks like Gurley has placed himself on the NFL Protection Program. Really, who can blame these guys? Look what happened to Marcus Lattimore.

What's sad is how much UGA has made off of him, and he can't make money off of his own signature. But, rules is rules, and it's a 'no-no', and he knew that.

lol. 2 games for knowingly breaking the rules has gotta be a joke. UGA doesn't get to pick and choose the penalties for something so brazen. I think indefinite is right. Maybe the SEC will pressure the NCAA for 2 games.

I interpret "indefinite" to mean they haven't decided yet - not correct?

Ah well Georgia already lost like they always do so it's not like they were going to be one of the SEC's four playoff teams at this rate... but it's a risk for the SEC to put their eggs in the states of Mississippi/Alabama basket.

Indefinite is basically "forever until we say otherwise."

Pretty similar. But given it's an NCAA issue, the "until" could take a long time and end up being forever. (I'm assuming he is NFL bound after this season)

I heard on the radio tonight (local, so they may have no clue) that Gurley may only miss one game.

Has Gurley admitted his involvement? If so, I respect him 1000 times more than Manziel.

Still, pretty boneheaded move.
