Yup. A&M and 'Bama are the only two SEC schools that even concern me, so I would love for those two to fall out of playoff contention. Teams like Georgia and SC are hysterically overrated, and I would love a piece of them (not realistic scenario, though). Even Auburn was underwhelming against K-State.

The SEC champ should get a nod ... but think there will be alot of pressure to not over SEC the playoffs and side with conference champs (which I agree with). Bottom line is the Oklahoma is in a good spot right now ... doesn't matter what the SEC does or what FSU does or doesn't do. OU controls their own fate ... and OU is darned good.

I didn't mean it in the sense that they could both go to the playoffs. We just have to get by OSU and Baylor and we're good. I meant that, assuming we're in the playoffs, I would much rather draw a team like Georgia, SC, Auburn, etc. than Alabama or A&M. Georgia and SC wouldn't stand a chance if we brought our A game.

The SEC east is down ... the SEC is kinda like the Big-12 in the later 2000's when the south was murders row and the north was weak.
