I think the odds makers are giving the WV defense far too much credit. We get Alex Ross out in space and he can be a game changer with Tonka gouging them up the gut. Sterling Shepard does what he does with Blake Bell & Durron Neal comin' on strong...

I don't think they score that much. 45-21

I haven't taken a lot of time to look at WVU, but I firmly believe Tennessee had a much better defense (with markedly better talent), so I expect our offense to be able to run the ball better. I know the Mountaineers had a prolific offense, but I can't imagine Trickett getting enough time to light it up on every possession.

Last year was odd because we were what, 2 games into the season, and playing in a new defensive scheme. Trevor Knight was starting his second game. I think this year is going to be much different, and I can see this game getting out of hand.

This is a tough projection. I feel pretty confident we'll hold WV under 30, and a good chance even under 20. But I could see our offense going anywhere from low 10s to low 50s.

I'll go:
OU: 31
WV: 20

Im hoping OU 49 WVU 10 so I dont have to check into the hospital with palpitations like I nearly did last time in Motown. But I think it will be OU 28 WVU 24.

You weren't alone. That was the one and only time a win felt like a loss.

I'm going with 31-27 only cuz I'm a little worried about 3rd down conversions.

I don't do much prediction', but I did notice the majority of y'all were pretty close last week. I think it will be a good game, but as always I hope we dominate. On another note, the "eers" are all predicting an upset of major proportions. A lot referencing that @$$&#%#&$)#% Fiesta Bowl. I think that game along with the @&$$&%###%@&$ Boise game will haunt us forever!

I don't think many teams will score twenty on us this year. If WVU is one of them, it won't be more than 24.

This game is "strength on strength" with our D and their O. Lots of intangibles like road game, night game, alt OU uniforms which have been kryptonite, and WVU is underrated.

It's going to be up to our offense to keep our D fresh by moving the chains. Yards on first down are critical. My concern lies in our suddenly less versatile backfield (lteral pass game) and streaky QB who can go quiet for a quarter and a half at times.

Gonna be close. OU 31 WVU 28 but I would not be surprised if the score were reversed.

I think we'll try to control the clock much more in this game than any thus far, so- I'll say it's a lower-scoring affair than most expect with OU winning somewhere in the neighborhood of 31-19.

Look for Alexander to drop into coverage and snag an INT or two and for special teams to factor in there somewhere (DL needs to get their mitts into the air to deflect/knock down some of those slant passes as well).

BOOMER!
