I like living out in the country but the one drawback as been no cable internet. The only utilities I seem to have access to is electric and trash collection. I'd also mention police protection but they never show up when I drink scotch and shoot my AR-15 off the back porch. I could take care of the trash by burning it. Wait, I'm getting very sidetracked. What are some decent internet options if a guy lives in the sticks and like to play online games and surf porn? That's a hypothetical because I only play online games.

If you can get 4G on your cell phone, then you can get something from one of the major cell carriers, Verizon, Sprint, etc., that will work but it's similar to what Vet has with regards to paying by the gigabyte of data and it's pricey.

Check into @Link. Not sure that it will work, but if they can get in sight with their towers, should be able to give you something. It isn't the best service, but it's better than nothing. I used to pay 29.99 a month for it.

I've had them for close to 10 years now. No issues. 3 down, 1.5 up for 45 a month. It do depend on where he lives if he can get it or not.
