I think 'Bama's run game will prove to be too much for WVU, but I sure won't count 'em out.

Semi-interested. I keep wondering if Bama will make Kiffin quit hosting Tosh.O

For sure. I don't see WVU winning but the people who pretend the SEC is so untouchable need these times to get over themselves.

We all like our teams guys but chill.

That throw by Sims reminds me of Knight in last year's opener, and makes me very thankful we're starting the season out with La Tech.

Total shocker. 7th round pick doesn't make team.

Geez, WVU just doesn't want to win. 5 missed tackles...all of which would have forced Bama off the field and allowed WVU to take the lead heading into the half. Instead, he goes 38 yards and puts Bama in scoring position. One of the most poorly executed plays I've ever seen.

Thats Big XII speed

LOLOL! Returns the kick for a TD. Alabama will never schedule a Big XII opponent again.

Oh, you know Coach Stoops talked to the WVU staff and you know they dissected OUr game film.

'bama is going to lose more than one this year. OU showed how to beat them. So when they come up against "comparable" talent... they're going to get rolled.

WOW W. Virginia has a shot at taking this game would be a HUGE coup for the Big 12

Is Bama motivated?

Everyone chill out... This is just a consolation game...

Yeah... Saban's thinking, "never schedule that conference again!"

LOL!

Meaningless 3 at the end of half there. Sure, if it comes down to a close game, it could be big... them getting the ball to start the half to... but that KO return, was a back breaker in the 1st half. Saban aged 5 years on that and you could see their shoulders slump.

Whoa! So this is where Mack ended up?

Honestly... I can see this being a good move for him and possibly being a good resource for us fans, especially with conference insight.

OU may have shown how to beat them, but only a couple teams in the SEC will actually be able to execute it offensively. Right now I have A&M and Missouri in the SEC Championship game.

Pigs are tied with top 10 Auburn 2nd qtr. 21-21 on the SEC channel. Sure hope WVU can upset 'Bama, and the pigs upset the gulf aggies. If that happens may have to dvr the Finebaum show on Monday.
WVU looks fast and big. If they happen to win, I wonder if our game with them goes to prime time ABC if both teams are undefeated?
They just said Utah St. vs Tennessee will be on tomorrow night. I may have to tune in to that one..

This #11 for WVU looks pretty legit at WR. Sanchez is going to have his hands full.

2nd and 1 from the Bama 30. WVU needs to punch this one in. Start of the 4th.

They had a first and goal inside the 5...and kicked a FG. Bama has gotten lucky today. They've got a long way to go before A&M, or they're going to get torched.

These refs are trying their hardest to keep Alabama's lead. Jeez!

Definitely SEC style officiating. On that corner route the Bama player was grabbing at the receivers arms the whole way, that would've had about 14 flags thrown on it in the NFL.

So which team was impressive and which wasn't?

Well, given that it's the mighty Bama, I'd say they were somewhat less than impressive.

But the score was a bit deceptive-- Bama probably should have won by a bit more, but only a bit. Their upside as the season progresses will probably be greater-- I expect they'll sort a few things out and look much, much better (especially special teams coverage . . . although Bama's FG kicker seems to have gotten really good. If Auburn's planning on relying on them missing easy field goals [or returning a missed long FG] to pull off another upset, they better come up with a contingency plan).

On the other hand, if WVU had executed just a little better (that high snap and the ensuing 19-yard loss when they were on the doorstep late in the game kind of summed up their performance), they might have pulled off the upset. That's going to be a tough W for OU to get if WVU get better and we don't execute.

Not so sure about that - Mack is one of the only ESPN analysts who said the B12 would not put a team into the playoff.
