While it's neat to see "Sooners" on national publications for all
to see, the memory of "jinx" bothers me. I'd rather have seen
a three team montage of Free Shoes U, Buckeye Myer and Crimson
Saban on the cover and a big story about OU on the inside.....

Sorry in advance. Ohio State's black-ish uniforms look really ugly on the cover too (http://media2.newsnet5.com/photo/2014/08/13/braxtonmillersicover_1407949446077_7358763_ver1.0_ 640_480.jpg). They definitely don't look "ohio state"

Well holy moly how the heck did I miss those? That's embarrassing for someone who has every OU SI cover framed.
I just bought them off eBay. Man, that's humiliating. I gotta start paying closer attention to what's on the newsstands. lol

Son, you used to have a web page that shows our office with all of the OU stuff. Is it still out there for people to see? It is an amazing collection, from original yell-cards, players' pictures, signed flag, SI Covers, and the winning Bowl Programs from way back when. All are beautifully framed. We actually are a small museum.

And they might well have won it all if they could have survived the "murderers row" gauntlet. (Loved that line from that guy on Shaggy that does all the cartoons with penises in them).
