CFT - Oklahoma’s top tackler suspended for the season

Linebacker Frank Shannon is no longer a member of the Oklahoma Sooners. Shannon was suspended by the school for a year, according*to a release from Oklahoma University president David Boren. Shannon led the Sooners last season with 92 total tackles and helped solidify a defensive front seven which struggled in recent years.
