I love this. Minnesota raises their minimum wage, and this cafe owner lets his customers know what it costs separately charging them. I think it is awesome--but looking at the posts on their facebook page, I fear for America.

If I had a facebook, I'd have a few things to say to those dolts who want their wage hikes, but don't want to know about what it costs or means--they just think the mean, greedy owner should suffer because his is "rich." One idiot even looked at the diner's revenue of $690k and thought that was how much money the place made.

Kudos to this owner for making a statement.

Saw that on the Today show this morning...I liked it but I got the idea the Today hosts didn't.

Well of course not! They don't want to be kicked out of the club.

You'd be surprised how many people don't know this. Just read through the facebook posts.

Ever so often I'll wade into one of those economic/political arguments on Facebook...

I don't know that I've ever come out not feeling like I'd lost IQ points just by association.

It's like a whole bunch of 8th's all together. It's frightening to know there are that many clueless people out there.

But, but, but raising the minimum wage is the answer to all of the unskilled laborers problems...

How DARE the owner of a business not absorb the costs for the 'good of country'...
