Damn...Strong ain't messing around... (http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/25/strong-message-at-texas-rb-bergeron-is-gone/)

If there was one thing the Texas football program needed, it was a focus on discipline and getting a toughness back. That is what makes head coach Charlie Strong a terrific hire for the program after cutting ties with Mack Brown. Strong’s message to the team was put on display once more Friday morning with news of senior running back Joe Bergeron (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/cfb/130922/joe-bergeron) being dismissed from the roster.

Now this is stunning. Can confirm other reports that RB Joe Bergeron is gone from Texas football, per team rules violation. @statesman (https://twitter.com/statesman)

Strong mentioned Bergeron in his press conference (during media days). He said that he had "done everything we have asked, and more". Apparently not, or it was too much.

The kid was a pretty good running back, sounds like he didn't want to follow the rules. sad.
