Ahh, good ol' BLT season...

came home for lunch, opened the door, the aroma of bacon greets me. Wife has prepared BLTs with tomatoes grown in our backyard! The homegrown sort of tomatoes are much better than the store-bought. Have some homegrown cukes and jalapenos as well. Life is good.

When football starts, life will be better! That way, it will be much easier to disregard the bad news that dominates!

Football season > BLT season (which is plenty good on its own!)

I'm envious. My tomaters are flavorful but small. The bugs really enjoy a good tomato plant too.

A pound of bacon, six slices of fresh bread, half a head of lettuce and a bag of chips makes a very nice meal.
