Oklahoma is the overwhelming favorite to win the Big 12 title in a preseason media poll. Defending champion Baylor is led by senior quarterback and league preseason offensive player of the year Bryce Petty. Six teams drew first-place votes in last year's preseason poll. Kansas State was picked third, one point ahead of Texas.
