Was once the best shaving cream known to man. I haven't seen it in years, cannot find it on the internet. So, I've been making do with second rate menthol. It's okay.

But it's not Noxema. Anyhow, my son bought me some Italian cream for Father's Day. Proraso. Not bad. Seems like it has more of a thickness than what I've been using.

Still. Why did Noxema stop making the best shaving cream known to man?

thanks for the tip...but I'm not holding my breath...has to be Menthol, not Sensitive Skin...

Yeah you're correct. No menthol. Just sensitive skin kind

Last time I seen that was 1983. It was Halloween, and we were running around in our little gangs egg'n each other. I bought a can of the menthol shaving cream at the local ****-n-get to use in close quarters combat. The guy I hit in the face with that shaving cream would have stomped a mudhole in my *** if only he could've seen in order to do it:D For 3 day's, his eyes looked like 2 cherry's in a glass of buttermilk. :D

Proraso is awesome.

Yes it is...I've upgraded my opinion on Proraso. Just finished shaving a bit ago with a new blade...wow, that was the smoothest shave I've had in a long time. And the clean, crisp, menthol feel was just right.

Noxema Menthol RIP

Welp, when I shaved off my full beard...about 27 years ago, I think, I used
Noxema. I shaved it because I was at the doctor's office with my son and
someone said to him that it must be fun to have Grandpa with him at the
doctor's office. I had lots of gray in my hair and beard. Pizzed me off!

I've also been on the hunt for Noxzema menthol shaving cream ever since they stopped making it. After contacting Noxzema, their shaving creams are made under license by [email protected]. I have emailed them to bring it back. We need enough people to contact them that they bring it back.
