Wow. I didn't think I'd ever see that especially in an era where everyone has gone back to natural grass.

I remember the ND fans complaining a lot before and after our game about how bad their field looked.

I wonder how much their northern location contributed to this. I love the looks of some of the bluegrass and perennial ryegrass fields but I don't think they stand up to abuse as well as a hybrid bermuda (overseeded in winter). I see they were complaining about the damage done by the various events they have at their stadium but I'd imagine a bermuda would have recovered a lot better - at least if the events were handled during the warm season.

Seriously, if, given the adequate rain and mild temps prevalent in Indiana, you can't grow grass, you need to go look for other useful employment of your years upon this earth.
