It wasn't a make-or-break day for Oklahoma center Gabe Ikard, not after doing well at last month's NFL combine. But he wanted to support his teammates at Oklahoma's pro day Wednesday - and answer any lingering questions scouts might have. ''But this was important for my teammates and I tried to help them prepare by giving them the knowledge I had gained at the combine.'' Some two dozen players worked out for scouts, including running back Roy Finch. ''If you've been working at this and dreaming about it, it's going to show and you could tell today who was prepared.'' Beau Blankenship was in a similar situation.
