Utah announced Wednesday that Oklahoma quarterback Kendal Thompson is transferring to the Pac-12 school. "It's official, Utah Football wants to welcome QB Kendal Thompson @Thurm405 to the #UteNation Welcome to the family," the school tweeted Wednesday. Thompson, the son of former Oklahoma quarterback Charles Thompson, decided in January to leave the Sooners' program after playing in only two games and throwing 13 passes last season as a redshirt sophomore behind returning starter Trevor Knight and Blake Bell. Thompson suffered a broken foot during preseason camp last summer and Knight ended up winning the starting job.
