Former Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert could be one of the top picks in May’s NFL Draft. Former OU fullback Trey Millard isn’t likely to be after suffering a season-ending knee injury midway through the season.
Both received invitations to the NFL Scouting Combine from Feb. 19-24 in Indianapolis.
Millard is one of five former Sooners who received invitations. Also invited were running back Damien Williams, wide receiver Jalen Saunders, offensive lineman Gabe Ikard and cornerback Aaron Colvin.
Colvin tore his anterior cruciate ligament last month at Senior Bowl practice.
Williams was dismissed from the team for an undisclosed violation of team rules late in the season.
Former Oklahoma State receiver Josh Stewart is one of 85 draft-eligible underclassmen who were invited.
