I was watching video on these two guys and i came away with completely different feelings towards these two young men. I will start with the bad first. Lattin, who is 6'9 (according to his videos) has no desire to dunk or attack the paint. He can shoot and shows great range but I want to see a 6'9 guy attacking at will. One thing i will say about Lattin is that he uses the glass and will lay up for the easy two. Too many times i have thought to myself that college and NBA players would all see an increase in PPG if they would just lay it up instead of trying to slam everything. Wont have to worry about that with Lattin.
Now Buford......wow! I loved his video. He has a killer instinct and is freakishly athletic. The first person i thought of was a M'Baye or Juan Patillo (But much better). He is not quite the talent Blake Griffin was but i have a feeling Buford will be a guy that will bring the crowd to a roar with some monster slams. I am very excited about this kid.
