Out with the scouts at our annual Klondike campout. Last night it got down to 12 degrees with wind gust of up to 35 knots. Today it is warmer but the winds are high. Snowing has neen heavy at times. Our scouts have done exceptionally well given the cold.
I slept in my hammock using my new down under quilt. It was really warm.
On thing I learned is that great gear used properly will save your *** everytime. I have spent a fortune on my camping kit and it has paid off.
