Participating in the Senior Bowl can have its rewards, but it can also be risky. Former Oklahoma cornerback Aaron Colvin learned that the hard way Tuesday when he tore his ACL during practice in Mobile, Ala. Colvin’s agent confirmed the injury. @AColvin14 has torn his acl. Colvin was considered to be a potential second or third round draft pick, but with the injury his draft stock will plummet. Despite the unfortunate setback, Colvin took to Twitter on Tuesday night and vowed to return “bigger, stronger, and faster.” pic.twitter.com/QYebQuUOTI — Aaron ©olvin (@AColvin14) January 22, 2014 The 6-foot, 190-pound Colvin was a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back and a three-year starter for the Sooners. He earned first team All-Big 12 last season with 44 tackles, five tackles for loss, and one interception.
