OU gets a fraction of that from Nike (http://www.bizjournals.com/birmingham/news/2014/01/02/sugar-bowl-how-alabama-and-oklahomas.html?page=all), but I have a feeling we'll have some bidders when our deal comes due soon.

Just as long as our guys aren't stuck wearing Under Armour, I'm cool with that.

Under Armour currently has schoolwide deals with 12 other schools: Auburn, Hawaii, Maryland, Texas Tech, Boston College, Utah, Northwestern, St. John's, Navy, Colorado State, South Florida and South Carolina.

I'm not fond of Phil Knight/Oregon, but Nike is a far better brand than UA. Especially when it comes to footwear.

Agreed. And if it gives me more non-Nike options for purchasing Sooner apparel/gear, etc., so much the better. I refuse to buy anything with a swoosh on it.

Never liked the Adidas stuff in college anyway. Can't wait to see what kind of clown costume UA comes up with for the "Shamrock Series".

Instead of just a gold helmet, the entire uniform will be gold --- jersey, pants, shoes, socks, gloves, sleeves, facemask and mouthguards.

This will be achieved by having athletes stand in front of a massive gold spraypaint can for several minutes

The vision that popped into my mind was excellent!

I'm thinking they may hire little people to be "living mascots" on their uniforms. It's going to start a whole new trend in uniforms...
