Oklahoma center Gabe Ikard is using his final collegiate game to take one last jab at Texas. Ikard, who will be playing in the East-West Shrine game on Saturday, adorned his Sooners helmet with an upside-down Texas Longhorns logo. Usually, it’s a hat tip to friends on other teams. The “horns down” symbol is one of the main ways Sooners show disrespect to their rival and it was always something that irked former Longhorns’ coach Mack Brown . Ikard’s helmet was so popular that it inspired former Nebraska offensive tackle, and West Team teammate, Jeremiah Sirles to add an upside-down Longhorn to his helmet as well.
