Yep I think we need to raise Kane with these guys. (pathetic pun). What I've seen of ISU this year, which was a distracted two games, my first thoughts were this is a disciplined team. They execute the offense, don't turn the ball over and are a good shooting team. Just well coached.

Early we were shooting well against KU then cooled off and it cost us. We are shooting 37.5% from 3 and 42% from 2. It's just a higher percentage shot to get some points, and going inside with the contact will force the zebras to make some calls in our favor. 18 points off 3's and 18 points off 2's. 0 fouls called on 3 point shots.

It's not always the case but today ISU basically dared OU to beat them from the 3 point area. OU did. Even at that it wasn't necessarily a bad strategy for ISU but if you go 2-3 to cut off the paint you better not give up second chance rebounds. OU killed ISU with the offensive boards. That was the game. Spangler was superb today. Changed the game.

Agree that was bad form on the crowd.

The 3 ball worked out today, no doubt, and I'm glad it did. But you can't live only by the three and do it all year. We have to be able to drive inside, get the other teams guys in foul trouble, and in the end, when ISU took the lead, we pulled it out by driving and getting to the line. We have a better 3 point shooting team than we have had since Hollis Prince and Q. White were running around, but you have to have a balance to go deep in the tourney. Wide open three's take em, but when they stop falling we have to have an inside game, that's all I'm saying.

as far as 3's...my issue was taking one on the first pass....Booker taking one with several other shooters out there. I'd say the odds are if we have to win by 3's we'll lose more than win. There is a reason 34/36% is considered good. Yes, we hit today..but you also attach a zone not just sit back and shoot 3's...it won't win many games.

Kruger is amazing. We are winning games and sticking with elite teams (MSU/KU) while never having anyone on the floor taller than 6'6 (I don't think Spangler is as tall as he's listed).

Speaking of Spangler, good grief he dominated that game. Truly incredible effort. He was sensational. He's a joy to watch. As is this entire team. So fun to watch and they play with extreme intensity and confidence. All coaching.

Really hoping the word spreads to the fanbase that isn't paying attention because this team deserves it. Been a long time since watching OU basketball was this enjoyable.

I agree on the fanbase...wish I lived closer, course I'd have no money. I saw a post on the football thread, complaining of nothing to do on Saturdays for the next 8 months..?...I just don't get those folks who only follow OU football...yes I grew up on that as well but dang, between bball (both teams) gym (both teams) baseball, softball, wrestling, even soccer and golf...OU has some pretty good sports going on...but to each their own.
