Was a huge doubter in a rebuilding year.

OU did their thing. Love it.

I was thinking the same thing - biggest bowl win since '01 Orange. That Rose Bowl a distant 3rd.

this was a badly needed huge win for us to finally get the Bowl monkey off our back. Hopefully it marks the turning point of us getting back to elite status. It's been forever since our defense had swagger and dropped bombs on a bunch of offensive glamor boys and spoiled their party. Striker reminder me of Roy Williams on that forced fumble - it was a thing of beauty

Most excited I've ever been regarding a football game. OU has had more on the line in the past but this is the most unexpected end of a season ever. Dial back to before the KSU game and image what the odds would be that we would get a chance to play Alabama (who would have welcomed that chance?) and not only play them but whip their ***!

We got *** raped by Baylor not that long ago. Now look at us!! Suck it SEC and respectfully take that loss Bama dynasty - courtesy of the Sooners.

Huge win. It should help us in recruiting and the best thing is that we have found our quarterback!

Sure hope it supercharges our recruiting.

Bob said in the press conference that it will definitely help. I guess that proves some of the Bowl Game eggs we laid had the opposite effect

We have been maligned by them far more than we have deserved. Beating Bama with all their 5 and 4 star lineup most definitely should help recruits think coach Bobby does an excellent job, and they should consider OU.

This will help everything: team mojo, recruiting, Bob's and the teams overall perception, bringing in more money, getting fans reenergized, etc.

HUGE WIN!

And I thought the win in Stoolwater was exciting! Who knew?!

My only problem is now I have high expectations for the coming season. Like a couple of years ago.
I know I know. First world problem.

For Sure! Although I really enjoyed sending Nebraska off with a **** you. And Bedlam has been fun. I'm calling it Bedlam now, weird.
