Soonerjeepman - no need to be sorry about anything ... it is what it is. I figure Johnny is going to the NFL which will be interesting to watch and A&M moves on with Hill or Allen next year. Sumlin needs to figure out how to field a defense or his time will be short. Funny to think that most of late November and December we've bene hearing rumors of Sumlin to USC or the NFL, etc. If there was even a game that could crash someones stock it has to be this.

That's a bit of exaggeration as Duke still made a 1st down after those non-calls. We can't ever know what would have happened had they gotten one of those calls - they may well have been intercepted anyway. If they had run out of downs due to those non-calls, I would have agreed with you, but they did not ruin the game.

It wasn't just the fact that they didn't call the obvious PI. Watch the entire 2nd half. I realize that A&M is gay, but that doesn't mean the refs should allow their defense to dry hump Duke receivers all day long. A&M can't play defense for crap, yet suddenly they're getting stops the entire 2nd half? Right.

It seems this year in both college and the NFL the pass interference calls are way down. It seems they are allowing a lot more contact than they used to, even the Big 12 officials. As close as the games were called by Big 12 officials in years past I think that really hurt the teams in the bowl games and out of conference games. In the past a DB would breathe on the receiver and get a call, this year they have to really do something to get a flag. Just strange how it changed so quickly from one year to the next.
