conference patches

Anyone know why the Big 12 doesn't wear a conference patch on their uniforms like the other conferences do? Wouldn't that be a no brainer as far as advertisement and name awareness? Isn't that why the Pac 12 and Big 10 re-did their logos for brand awareness?

Wow, sorry I asked. Didn't realize it deserved a ring tone and AD question response.
I still think a uni patch makes more of a statement than a little helmet sticker on the back.
