Pretty much a truism at any big program, but probably more so at Texas. I mean it's obvious that the horns are stocked with talent and the Brown is the only reason they are not in the title hunt every year, right?

Back in December 2009, Bob Stoops was reportedly heading to Notre Dame. After reports were not going away, he became more adamant that he wasn't leaving Oklahoma, because it was impacting his ability to recruit to OU if people thought he was going elsewhere.

Mack Brown isn't doing enough to silence retirement/resignation rumors, so I suspect his Florida trip is actually a vacation, not recruiting, because nobody's gonna verbal to Texas for Mack Brown if it's pretty much common knowledge that he's not gonna be there next year.
