One step closer to my dream combination where ESPN replaces Mark May with Tim Tebow for College Football Final where he can argue "court style" with Lou Holtz.

Why does ESPN think this voice will be a voice an audience wants to hear? Seriously, just click this video and listen to that voice and tell me if you like listening to this voice:

APSGIeOR6zQ

It almost sounds like he's whispering or doing something nasally to his voice on purpose... like someone getting ready to tell a joke? Like someone talking about an uncomfortable subject and trying to edge the news on the listener? Also, a lot of ummm-ing.

It's official now, he'll be part of their SEC Network, and he is making his debut on Jan. 6th

He really needs to take one final shot at the NFL this offseason. Get a free agent deal and get in a preseason camp and just try. There are so many teams that need quarterback help that it would be a shame to not have one of them deal with the Tim Tebow circus this offseason. Come back to the NFL, Tim! :P

I'm actually not joking.

Technically, the Longhorn Network is owned by ESPN, so... yeah

When does Mack Brown join ESPN? Seriously.I read that he's staying on with the cows athletic dept. as an advisor or some such, for a cool $500K per annum.

When a dude like booger gets a start you'd think Tebow could find a home somewhere.

The Packers don't need him, but hell, they don't need whoever they've tried out as backups either. If he can't catch on anywhere else, by all means he can be Rodgers never-enter-the-game backup next season

Booger throws the ball better than Tebow. I think it's funny how some folks here are fed up with the guy but start a thread about him when he makes the news.

Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations/Department Liaison to the Longhorn Network....so in other words he is being paid by ESPN.

Not sure why ESPN thinks this is a good idea. You can clearly tell his level of intelligence when you hear him talk. In addition, he is not going to say anything of interest to 99% of people, because he won't truly speak his mind. He is going to be boring on television.

Having Tebow on TV could end up a worse experiment than Emmitt Smith...

No but some SEC fans will eat it up, it doesn't matter what he says or doesn't say.
