Not really original, but good enough to enjoy.
Twas the night after Belam,
and all through the land
Not a 'Go Pokes!' was spoken
by a single Poke fan.
The weather was frightful,
the state covered in snow
but the Sooners were willing
and ready to go.
First play down the sideline
80 yards all for nought
The Pokes, they were holding
and they got caught!
Score Jalen! On a punt!
We've seen that before.
But he wasn't done,
for he'd score once more.
Then Michael OUr kicker
- yet not by himself
for even OUr holder
can throw better than Chelf.
And the pick that was not?
- to the poke fans tragic.
But I knew in a flash
It was Sooner magic!
So Brennan kept running
and continued to pound
Then Bell on a fade route
for a passing touchdown!
In the last moment the
Pokes ran out of gas.
And that last play?
T'was Hillarious!
The offense scores points,
That's just what they do.
But then Striker decides
he wants to score too!
But we know in the end
it is but a bore.
just another Poke win
in great Sooner lore!
