I didn't shout from the rafters at all. In fact, I barely posted. Basically you're making a lot of assumptions based on absolutely nothing but the tingly feeling you get from your ***. I'll tell you what -- I'll do it for you, mmkay? And then you can tell me which of my post-OSU posts is what you described.
Starting with the first post-loss post:

If the beginning of the season=all week then, yes, I have. I said at the beginning of the season that I expected to drop two games...against OU and OSU. It was always difficult to envision us winning in Stillwater especially after K-State.


Not accurate. I said I grew up liking OU more than OSU. What's the point of sticking with the Bears? I didn't go to f'n OU, OSU, or anywhere else. I proudly chose Baylor over everywhere else, and I've never regretted that decision for a moment lest of all because of a single football game.

I started at Baylor during the Kevin Steele years -- do you honestly think one loss is going to make me jump ship? Please. I'm a loyal guy. I never jump ship for anything when things go bad.


I think everyone is still perfectly pleased that we extended the contract. Although, if the bottom falls out as far as fan support then I do worry that CAB may be more inclined to go elsewhere.

In any case, we suck on the road. Consistently winning big road games is the hallmark of a good program and we're clearly not there yet.


It was a comparison that would have been relevant whether I was a Baylor fan or not. I could have substituted Briles with any number of coaches, but I'm most familiar with CAB thus I went with him.


I've never ever had a second/troll account here or anywhere else before, but I'm seriously considering creating another account strictly as an OU fan so that I can say stuff about OU without being...

^That was the last post that had any sort of connection to the OSU game. I'm not going to respond to the rest of the crap you posted. Suffice it to say, I don't consider defending my position to be an example of being "butt hurt", but I don't appreciate nor should I be expected to remain silent when I read straight up insults concerning me or Baylor. I've never really cared about other team's bowl success. However, the recent SEC dominance has changed my feelings. The Big XII needs to look strong outside of the conference, and since most teams schedule cupcakes for OOC season games, the bowls are about the only place to have some impact. So, I actually pull for any/all Big XII teams in bowl season.

It doesn't make me less of a Sooner fan. Let's face it, conferences are like family nowadays. As much as we may hate each other in our own backyard, there's nothing wrong with supporting each other against other conferences. It's just how things work now.

So, I hope every Big XII team that goes bowling wins their game by 50. Yes, including Texas.

That's awesome! I remember Jordan Lake really well. I even ran into him once on campus and told him how proud everyone was of what he was doing. A great safety for the time.

We had some good players back during that era here or there that, if we had them now, would have been first class players. Another example of that was Reggie Newhouse from the Steele era...

Anyway, you let Jordan his effort one the field was appreciated by his fellow students. And tell him a Baylor friend of yours said 'Sic 'Em!'
