An at-large BCS bid? I am fine with a Alamo Bowl as my *** will be in those stands for that one, but it would be sweet to sneak into the BCS.

Thoughts? I am to frazzled to do any kind of research for the answer.

According to Castiglion, it keeps our hopes alive

The loss to Mack hurts even more...

I don't want Sugar vs. Bama. I wish we could give it to Texas, but they're Fiesta or nothing. I kinda hope they give it to OSU.

What possibility is the Orange Bowl

We really needed UCF to lose. They pulled out a win over Houston 17-14. They will grab the Mid-Major slot.

Going to be pretty tough now.

Negative. UCF is, strangely enough, an AQ. No BCS buster this year.

So torn.
I was already planning on going to The Alamo Bowl.
Doesn't matter what happens though. It'll be great if we sneak into BCS game. It'll also save me some dough.

It will depend on outcomes of tonights games I think. I really do not see it though. Alamo is probably our destination.

If I'm figuring this out correctly, we are in the Pool of At-large with the following;

Alabama
Oregon
S Carolina
Baylor (lose to TX)
Ohio St (lose to MSU)
FSU (lose to Duke)
Oklahoma

I do not believe the Stanford/AZST loser has AL chances, nor does Auburn/Mizzou loser.

Mich St is going to Rose Bowl, win or lose, IMO.

I don't know what do you guys think?

Just saw this come across twitter.

kbohls: Cotton Bowl expected to take OU or OSU (depending on if OU gets a BCS bid) versus Missouri or South Carolina, bowl source says. #statesman

So unless we get a BCS bid, we are heading to Cotton bowl.

Baylor is heading to Fiesta, so that helps.

Our chances for a BCS increased with the win over OSU and the Texas loss.

I think it'll come down to how Michigan State looks in the B1G CCG, and possibly Clemson. If Michigan State wins tonight, I think Ohio State moves to the Sugar, and that leaves us and Clemson.

South Carolina is out, because the BCS will only be able to take 2 SEC teams, and they'll have Bama and Auburn.

Good point on S Car. forgot about the 2 team limit per conf rule.
