This game reminds me so much of how the OU teams in the early Stoops years played. On paper they may not have matched up ... but they played as a team and they played to the end. And the coaches were aggressive ... taking risks and playing to win regardless.

I would like to look at it one more time but I don't think it was an interception. When you look it appears that the OSU defender comes down on top of the OU player and isn't down at that point. You have to maintain possession all the way through the catch. As the OSU defender comes down off the OU player and hits the ground he loses possession.

obviously I LOVE the win...so I'm assuming the Hunnicut TD was good because, #1 he had possession, #2 he broke the plain, #3 he took a step or 2 after breaking the plain...? because the ball came out when he hit the ground after the hit.

He hits the ground and then the WR swipes the ball out I believe we got away with one but they got away with quite a bit as well so I say it's a push we win screw OSU

That was my interpretation, I just don't know if it would have held up under review. In slow motion there is a noticeable pause between Butt to ground and ball coming out. Had it been reviewed I think it would have been 50/50 a catch

I finally got around to watching the game after avoiding any knowledge of what occurred.

My thoughts.......

Poor Aggie


Great team win by the Sooners giving up some big plays and coming right back and making big plays themselves time and again.

I could single out individual players but you know who they are. And there were a lot of them.

Aggie coach Gundy blew it by not calling time out after the 'interception'. It sure coulda gone against the Sooners.

I still can't believe those 1st down calls were denied after replays showing the balls were good for 1st downs.

Loved the goal line stand by the Sooners. Huge momentum boost among several others.

All 3 quarterbacks contributed to the win. Bell really showed his maturity down the stretch.

I wish more college players would transfer to OU. Penn State's Brown and Fresno State's Saunders coming to OU have really paid off big dividends.

Brennan Clay.......I hope you get a chance in the NFL.
