It was so thick today, there must have been a blue aura over Manhattan.

Sooners fumbled twice and recovered both of them.

That punt return by Saunders was completely unexpected, running past two cats to make the catch in stride and take off towards the endzone and one of two back-breaking 4th quarter plays (the pick 6 being the other).

Sooners overcame two Cats who had career days, Lockett and Waters.

Lockett with 278 receiving yards in 12 catches, scored 3 touchdowns and had 440 all-purpose yards.

Waters threw for 378 yards and accounted for 4 touchdowns.

The Sooners defense, which gave up big play after big play in the 2nd quarter stiffened up in the second half.

While much was made of K-State missing their best defender, OU had to adjust to two more missing players, OUr #1 running back and one of the receivers.

While this no doubt does not qualify as a big game since OU won, it was magical to go on the road and win.

we got the breaks today...and in a matchup of mediocre teams i give Bill Snyder the mos def edge. his guys know how to play it.

to me, this is a nice win for the Sooners on the road.

i think the pokes are going to run us.

but i like where we are going. possibly.
