Facing Bill Syner this year out in Manhatten on a cold, windy day sounds ominous alright. K-State should be excited. Enough to say "Emaw?" No, but those fans are pretty HS types anyway.

Maybe the Owen Field Hippie Trespasser should be brought along. He could pump up Knight before the game: "Chill, dude. This stuff is fun. You get to get tackled, then stay on the field! I just get one shot!"

Ladies and gentlemen, what we've seen speaks for itself. The Big 12 has apparently been taken over -- 'conquered' if you will -- by a master race of giant purple. It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the purple will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new purple overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Internet personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their sh!tty athletic venues.

I agree with this.

They've had a little success for a longer period of time, so they feel like they should be respected like OU.

I still remember when KU and KSU were the absolute worst teams in the conference (maybe the country), and on the last game of the year they played to a tie. The good old days.
