Wowsa! The DB's mistake was trying to catch it instead of knocking it down.

Wowsa! The DB's mistake was trying to catch it instead of knocking it down.

They were just imitating the pros who have contract incentives for #INTs. Oh wait - this is the SEC. Maybe they *do* have contract incentives for #INTs!? :surprise:

Sometimes I think these games are rigged, but how could you plan that? It conveniently keeps the drama alive for the Iron Bowl.

I love it when a team is down late in the game and goes for it on fourth down and throws a long pass, and the DB then intercepts it deep in his own territory and celebrates wildly. He essentially robbed his team of a number of yards of field position, but he still celebrates. Maybe he is celebrating his monetary incentive.

Was watching it live and yelled miracle when he threw it. Beats the ole bluegrass game I think.

So what happened, for those of us on a plane to Tokyo Saturday...

It has to be the top video on sports sites, but recap:
4th and 18 for Auburn, less than 1 minute to play
desperation overthrown pass down the middle into double coverage
2 defenders try to intercept, pop the ball into the air
receiver catches ball trots into endzone for game winning TD
Auburn still in SEC race, UGA fans sad
