What is up with his absence from the field? Has Bob put him in a permanent doghouse because he fumbled? Just curious, seems like a terrible waste of talent in my opinion. :suspicion:

We've got three senior RBs we're trying to keep happy.

I understand that, but it's starting to look like a year of eligibility wasted on a handful of plays for Ford. Not exactly a good use of talent that may be needed when these seniors are gone. Hope he sticks around so we get a chance to see more of him.

Didn't he get hurt on the kickoff after Milard went down?

Yeah, I think Ford's hurt. Not sure the injury or how bad.

FWIW, I saw Alvin Ross in the game, late.

We've got three senior RBs we're trying to keep happy. Thats the good news. Next year Ford will probably be the feature back, and a huge season. I don't expect a RB by committee next year.

Injury update: OU played without cornerback Aaron Colvin. He was in uniform for senior day festivities, but did not play due to the shoulder injury he suffered against Baylor.

The Sooners were also without wide receiver Sterling Shepard (head), Jordan Evans (ankle) and Keith Ford (ankle) due to injuries they suffered the previous week.

Defensive coordinator Mike Stoops did say he expects Colvin to be available when OU plays at Kansas State next week.

Outside of Bell’s injury, OU did not appear to pick up any serious ones against the Cyclones.

There's your answer.
