On the incident report, Ames police officer Clint Hertz wrote that after speaking with the unnamed victim, “the victim’s boyfriend and father of her child held her down and cut a portion of her hair that she said was caused by scissors.”
He started all season... until before this incident, it appears:
Irving’s eight-game starting streak ended against TCU last Saturday for what coach Paul Rhoads said Monday was non-football health concern. When pressed, he cited federal privacy laws.
Irving had 16 tackles and two sacks for a 1-8 team that plays at Oklahoma on Saturday.
