How did they look? I was at SoonerofAl's playoff game then a 3 hour return drive home.

The score was not what I expected and gives me optimism for the season ahead.

I didn't see it, either, but I'm pretty excited about Spangler's stat line. I was optimistic about improved guard play, but I thought Osby and Mbaye (mainly Osby) left too big of a gap to fill.

Great team effort. Down about 16 in the first half, they came back with a 30 - 6 run right before half. In the 2nd half they kept up the pressure and iced it when it came down to making free throws.

'Bama was hurt late in the first half when their 2 point players got into foul trouble.

That Woodard freshman has a little Mookie in him.

The team has several players that can penetrate and then either go to the hole or pass off for a 3 point attempt.

I love that the team doesn't have selfish players, no go-to guy like Osby last season. There's about 8 or 9 players that can be interchangeable and they all can dog their opponents defensively and push the ball upcourt.

Spangler seems to play above himself. Great effort inside. Wish he was a little taller.
