Haven't had decent pecans since I left Dallas. Used to pick up more than I could use off the sidewalks in my afternoon walk, an old neighborhood filled with towering pecan trees (nothing like those stunted native pecan trees). These pecans were as long as my finger and I could crack em open just by squeezing them. A very sweet meat!
