This team is as dominant as any team in recent memory. They are absolutely scary.

Yeah, they were dominate in their whopping 35-25 victory over KSU. While KSU sucks, KSU is in fact the best team Baylor has faced up to this point. Their ranking is deserved based on record and outcomes of most of their games, but to be in the classification of "dominant as any team in recent memory", they probably need to play a team with a winning record first not named "Wofford" or "Buffalo".

They have a really good offense (at home) other than that, fraud. A dominant team doesn't struggle mightily with a pathetic KSU squad. Over 300 yards rushing allowed to KSU is abysmal. They also couldn't run the ball against that stout(lol) KSU front.

They have 9 homes games this year though(in comparison we have 6) and 4 road games, only one of the road games against a team with a pulse.

O btw WVU scored 42 on them, don't care how they got it, WVU is a joke.

Coaches pole also has a 2 loss aTm team ranked 2 spots ahead of an 1 loss Auburn team that just beat em. Go figure.

Baylor is worthy of the ranking in my opinion. Say what you want about KSU, but they played a solid game against Baylor. Not saying they are unbeatable or dominate but i think they are better than The Ohio State.

Baylor's offense is very, very good. I'm still not sold on their defense, and KSU created the blueprint to beat the Bears. The question is, can anyone do it?

Why not #5? I haven't seen many teams that have looked better than Baylor through 6 or 7 games.

Baylor absolutely deserves to be there. At this point, all they are doing is putting up a buttload of yards and points against everyone. I know they haven't played anyone, but I don't see a defense upcoming that is going to stop them either...

Baylor vs Oregon would be fun. Briles is COTY...

There's several jokes in the rankings, but I agree, the Auburn/A&M is the biggest.

Oh, and in my opinion, it does matter that WVU only put up 14 points on Baylor's first team D, and I think 7 of those were on a blocked punt.
